Alumni Association

Welcome to the Zhenghua Primary Alumni Association

The Zhenghua Primary Alumni Association was formally formed in 2023 with a small team of Alumni. Since then the Association has been generously supporting the school and enriching our students’ school life with the Alumni’s rich life and work experience through talks and conversations.

Supporting the Association are our Alumni Youth which was started in 2024. The Alumni Youth members work closely with our current students to provide leadership and role modeling in contributing to the community.

Apart from members from the Alumni Association and Alumni Youth, the Co-curricular Activites in the school has been increasingly receiving support from non-member Alumni. Each contributing with their unique strength.

At the moment, the Association aspires to reach and recruit active members and leaders who wishes to partner us in enriching the young minds in Zhenghua Primary school.

Our People

Chairman	Mr Tan Koon Sheng, PBM Koon Sheng graduated from Zhenghua Primary School in 1999 and was a librarian during his primary school days. Koon Sheng loves reading and would spend his days in the school’s library reading books. Koon Sheng is currently working with Singapore Post as a District Manager. He enjoys doing volunteer work and prawning.
Vice Chairman	Ken Seow Ken graduated from Zhenghua in 1999. He is Assistant Vice President at Manulife Financial Advisors. He helps his clients achieve financial freedom through investments and protection. He is also the Chief Marketing Officer of Yimun Pte Ltd, a local book series interpreting YiJing through comics. Ken sees the importance of learning constantly. He graduated with an MBA in Global Financial Services after working for a number of years. He enjoys spending time with his family.
Secretary	Mr Dylan Tan Jun Ming Dylan graduated from Zhenghua Primary School in 2001 and loves sports. He likes challenges and would often try out different kinds of sports. Dylan is also a SAF Commando and excelled in his NSF service. Dylan is currently a businessman, he is a Managing Director of NewGen Projects Ptd Ltd, specializing in Facilities Management & Engineering works.
Treasurer	Mr Neo Chin Chuan Chin Chuan graduated from Zhenghua Primary School in 1999. Chin Chuan loves sports and would try different ball games. During his free time, he loves to play basketball and enjoys playing with his child. Chin Chuan is married with a child. Chin Chuan works as an ICA officer with the Investigation Branch and guards the borders with pride and ensures all Singaporeans and tourists exits and enters safe and sound.

Membership Criteria

Ordinary Membership
Open to all former students who have completed at least 1 full year in the School and are at least 21 years of age.

Youth Membership

• Open to all below 21 years of age who were or had been students of the School for at least 1 full year and are currently between 15 and 21 years of age.
  
• Youth membership shall terminate and ordinary membership shall commence automatically, upon the member reaching 21 years of age, unless the member has explicitly indicated otherwise.
  

Membership Fees
There are no membership fees (as of 1 Jan 2023).
